I am Jody Gordon, the founder of Pet Welfare Enrichment and an animal welfare consultant with over 20 years of experience in animal welfare. As the owner of Pet Welfare Enrichment, a division of The Animal Welfare Consultancy Ltd, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for enhancing the well-being of our beloved companions from dogs and cats to pigs and parrots, or even snakes and lizards.

With a rich background in animal welfare, my journey has included diverse experiences in TV, live exhibitions, and charity work. Having spent a significant portion of my career at the RSPCA, I've garnered insights and skills that have become the foundation of my commitment to improving the lives of animals.

My role as an animal welfare advisor on various high-profile television productions, including Clarkson's Farm, All Creatures Great and Small, The Pet Show, Pooch Perfect UK, and Animal Rescue Live, reflects my dedication to promoting positive and enriching environments for animals in the media.

Beyond television, I have contributed my expertise to numerous productions in film, advertising, theatre, and live events, leaving an imprint on diverse platforms, from the grand stage of the London Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony to the set of ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’. In addition I have written expert reports for legal cases, compiled policies and procedures for licensed businesses such as boarding and breeding establishments and investigated animal welfare offences that included domesticated, exotic, farm and wild animals. These experiences have not only honed my skills but have also deepened my understanding of the intricate relationship between animals and their human companions.
